Shared managed infrastructure. These are managed hosting allowances, not dedicated physical resources. Resource use is subject to fair use, platform capacity and service limits. We may recommend a higher package or custom infrastructure where an application consistently exceeds its allowance.
Host operating system, platform and managed database minor-version updates are included. Application code, frameworks, dependencies, CMS software and plugins remain the customer’s responsibility unless covered by a separate care agreement.
Database backups are retained for the period shown. File and volume backup, individual-file recovery and customer-requested restore options are confirmed during the technical review. Backups support service recovery and do not replace customer-managed copies of critical business data.

We can scope separate servers or databases, higher storage, advanced monitoring, private networking, bespoke backup policies, compliance requirements, enhanced support and custom service commitments.

Build & Own Websites
Hillmorton designs, builds, hosts and manages the website. During the initial build-payment period it is supplied under licence. Once the agreed build balance is paid, ownership of the agreed website design and code transfers to you and the monthly price falls to the ongoing managed-service rate.

We do not use a 99p teaser year that quietly renews at several times the price. Standard renewal pricing and known exceptions are shown before you commit.

Migration
Standard migration is included on selected plans. Complex migrations are quoted before work begins, and eligibility is confirmed after a short technical review.

Standard email migration: standard IMAP mail only, working credentials, up to 10 GB per mailbox and one delta sync. Presence Professional includes up to 5 mailboxes (50 GB total); Presence Business includes up to 10 (100 GB total). Calendars, contacts, shared mailboxes, PST/OST imports, tenant-to-tenant and legacy-server recovery are quoted separately.
Standard website migration: one currently working website, up to 10 GB of files and one database up to 1 GB, on a supported runtime with working source access. It excludes redesign, redevelopment, performance work, plugin replacement and legacy recovery. Included on Cloud Growth, Cloud Scale and eligible Build & Own work after review.
Standard DNS migration: up to 25 ordinary records for one domain. Email or DNS migration starts at £90; website migration starts at £180. Additional standard mailboxes are £15 ex VAT each.
Pricing and service notes
Prices shown apply to standard service requirements. Complex migrations, unusually high usage, bespoke infrastructure, premium domains, third-party licences and custom development are quoted separately before work begins.
Shared services are subject to fair use. CPU-heavy workloads, sustained high memory or database use, very high traffic, bulk email, file-storage abuse, cryptocurrency mining, public proxies, unauthorised scanning, prohibited content and security abuse are not permitted. Hillmorton Cloud may recommend an upgrade, isolate a workload or restrict activity that creates legal, security or platform-stability risks.
Hillmorton Cloud monitors its managed hosting platform and aims to maintain high service availability. Any formal commitment is defined in the applicable service schedule. Hosting support covers operation of the Hillmorton service; development and third-party application work are separate unless your agreement says otherwise.

Yes. A standard Hillmorton Voice plan includes 100 forwarded UK minutes each month. Presence Business includes 250. Additional standard UK forwarding is 6p per minute excluding VAT. During the initial 24-month build-payment period, the website is supplied under licence. Ownership of the agreed website design and code transfers once the build balance is fully paid. Customer-created content remains yours, while third-party software, fonts, stock images, plugins and external services remain subject to their own licences. The domain is held in the customer’s name.
Yes. Your remaining balance is the agreed original build balance minus the setup fee and cleared monthly build contributions already paid. You may pay it at any time and request release of the agreed website files. The final agreement identifies the files that transfer and the expected ownership date.
Standard domains renew at £14.99 excluding VAT per year. Premium domains, specialist extensions, redemption fees, transfer fees and registry price increases may cost more; we confirm the applicable price before acting.
Service plans can be cancelled on notice. Annual billing runs to the end of its paid term. Build & Own website plans may have a remaining build balance until ownership transfers.
No. Standard cloud packages provide managed allowances on shared Hillmorton infrastructure. They are subject to fair use, platform capacity and the stated service limits.
